Joseph Boniface Architects were appointed to remodel an existing detached property in Lancashire.
A series of smaller extensions were proposed to maximise the connection from the house to the garden as well as remodelling the existing smaller spaces to create an open plan living, dining and kitchen area.
As a separate commission, JBA were appointed to design the layout of the garden. The client wanted to break up the extensive lawned area; a series of fins of varying heights were proposed to create smaller rounded spaces which incorporated pools, rills and ornamental trees as focal points.
